Scarab

This design based on the number 16/7 or 2 x 8. As 7 it corresponds to intellectual and spiritual development, philosophy, metaphysics; the mind in search of its reason for being supported by its components the initiating power of 1 and the group focussed 6.
As it was created as a multiple of 8 it also partakes in the energies of personal power and material accomplishment and as the symbol for infinity it depicts the divine marriage of matter and spirit.
The Dung beetle species Scarabaeus sacer has been revered in the Ancient Egyptian culture as a symbol of the sun with its ability to disappear in the evening and return the next day. As such the scarab has been associated with the morning sun, rolling dung into balls which resemble the sun.

Open your heart and receive the gifts of the spirit - it is the gift of your Self.
